What a unique restaurant that's tucked away off n ravenswood. They've been around since 1904 and you can feel the nostalgia. A cozy restaurant with a bar on the other side. We went for brunch and the waffles were amazing. I got the sirloin eggs Benedict which were not worth it. The service was great, very attentive!

I've been wanting to come here for a while, having driven past it several times. Parking is easy in the attached lot. The inside is spacious and I had no idea about the really cool back patio. It has a very nature focused feel, with birds chirping, and plants on the walls. Happy hour is good, with a few drinks discounted. The food left a little to be desired, as there are very few vegetarian options and the food seemed like reheated, frozen stuff. Next time I will have to try the famous ribs.

Great place to go before of after visiting the cemetery for cool events at the Chapel (or, ya know, relatives.... ) Good and drinks are all great, servers are cool, vibe is chill, fireplace is warm. Wings are yummy, onion rings are gigantic and fresh, burgers are delish. Can't go wrong.

I love ordering delivery from here! I always get half slab of ribs, and they are fall off the bone tender. Great sauce too. The chicken wings are a bit pricey, but they are good classic wings which are hard to find these days. You MUST get the ranch and bleu cheese, best dipping sauces ever. I don't interact with the service very much, but the package of food and writing my name with little hearts or other positive notes is much appreciated. It's a treat to order this joint, but it's absolutely worth it.

This place was great. The service was outstanding and the outdoor area in the back was just cool and inviting. They went out of their way to get our game in the tv! Got the club sandwich and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Fry's were good and good beer selection. Prices were fair and I can't ask for more. I'll def be back!

Went for a very late dinner since the kitchen was open late! Had the fireside burger and the baby bank shrimp. Both amazing but the burger was out of this world. I did substitute the cheese with blue cheese and glad I did! Then back patio is super nice and the severs very helpful. Loved that they didn't overwhelm us with questions.

This restaurant is a bit far for us, but sssooo worth the drive! Yet another favorite of ours! So much, in fact, the server, Naomi, recognized us right away... EVEN just serving one time, last time!!! We've had different dishes each time, but that banana cake is guaranteed a constant! It's sssooo flavorful! He absolutely loved his burger & tater tots! My 12 in pizza could have used more seasonings, but it was yummy! I purposely ordered a larger one, so I'd have leftovers for lunch the next day.

Haven't been to Fireside in years, and not to my surprise, the food and service was great! Was out with Mom and was in the area so we took a chance on it not being crowded being Mother's Day .... We picked the right time frame, cause as we were about to leave it was getting full ! The food we had was great from start to finish !

We held a ~50-person event at Fireside. One attendee said it was the best buffet they'd ever had. We opted for mini-sliders, coconut shrimp, chicken quesadillas with guac and other sauces, chopped fruit, and mini crab cakes. Quite good. Servers kept up with refilling the water etc. as well as they could. Nice large, bright patio with 10 or so tables is 75 degrees even when it's snowing outside. Great place I'll return to. Tip: skip the overhyped fried ribs. They're not very meaty. The crab cakes and everything else listed are good.

Loved the neighborhood vibes of this quaint bar near Rosehill cemetery. We visited Fireside recently for a Halloween event and had a good time. We ordered cocktails from their Halloween menu and had the Expresso yourself drink. Strong coffee flavor with a punch of vodka. We enjoyed it. We ordered their bar food and the chicken tenders with fries were pretty tasty! I would definitely order them again if we're back. It was a busy night, but our server checked in on us when she could. We were not in a hurry and luckily secured a table thanks to the husband snagging a pair of seats before the crowd arrived. From the front entrance, it looks small but it's actually long and there's extra seating past the bar in the back patio. It's enclosed and could probably seat another 50-75 people. They are a year-round operation so come in and visit anytime. Enjoy their tasty food, drink and welcoming local vibe.
